Client and starting point

What needed to change.

A cleaning company was spending $447.00 a month on Google Ads. It was getting 3 reported leads at $149.00 each. The ads were on, but the phone was quiet, and nobody could tell which clicks became customers. The account needed a full rebuild before any spending decision could be trusted.

Starting point: 3 reported leads at $149.00 each on $447.00 of monthly spend, December 2025

When the numbers come from: December 2025 baseline, rebuild measured February to March 2026

The problem

What the campaign needed.

The old account paid for competitor brand names and searches that could not become jobs. It also could not tell a real enquiry from noise. Before scaling anything, the account needed clean tracking and control over the search terms.

The approach

Work applied to the record.

  • Rebuilt conversion tracking in GTM and GA4 first, so every reported lead was a tracked call or form
  • Ran one main search campaign with a separate Performance Max campaign, each with its own budget
  • Removed competitor brand names, including Molly Maids, HomeGlow, and Squeaky Clean, and cut irrelevant searches as they showed up
  • Used month one to collect clean data, then month two to spend on what worked and cut what did not

72 reported leads at $12.03 CPA, target was $15.00

The account reported 72 leads at $12.03 each in a 31-day window. That is 20% under the $15.00 target the client set as the most a lead could cost.

This is a lead-stage record, not a revenue claim. The $15.00 target came from the client's own margin math. The screens do not show which leads became booked cleans.

42 charged leads at $33.86 in the first 30 days

The account went from nothing to Google Guaranteed, then recorded 42 charged leads at $33.86 each. That was the first 30 days after launch, April 1 to 30, 2026, across Ocala and five nearby Florida cities.

Local Services Ads charges for each lead, so the lead count and cost per lead come from the billing record. The client did not confirm which leads became booked jobs or what they were worth, so I claim neither.
